Provided just as an exercise -- the long think threshold times for various time controls:
90+30 --> 11:00
60+30 --> 8:00
45+45 --> 7:30
30+30 --> 5:00
15+10 --> 2:10
10+10 --> 1:40
5+5 --> 0:50
Based on the threshold formula that Dan gives in the comments here: 10% of (game time + 40 * increment).
NOTE: you won't actually see all these time controls from lichess -- at this time (early January 2024), I think only blitz games are fetched from lichess (my opinion based on reading the code).
Hi Tom, I figured out what the issue was. The script was breaking for users that had any daily games at all, even if they also had live games. I have fixed that now; try again and let me know if it works!
I played 41 rapid games on chesscom last year. Many 60|30, some 90|30. Last month, I played one rapid game. The longest think was 5:49, which is less than 10% of my time (11 minutes, according to my back-of-the-envelope calculations).
I realize now that, given how few rapid games I have, it's easier to simply look by hand what are my long thinks.
Looks like you only have one game played in the past month, and I'm guessing you didn't have any moves that were over the threshold (10% of total time, estimated as starting time plus 40 * increment). If you play some more games then hopefully some positions will show up.
Hi George, I've fixed a bug - the script was breaking for users that had any daily games at all, even if they also had live games. I have fixed that now; try again and let me know if it works!
Works for me on Chess.com. I think Chess.com was down earlier so that may have been why there were some issues for others.
Nice, thank you.
Works fine with my Lichess account. Great app
Very cool app. Thanks!

What is the point of this? Maybe if you cand provide some pattern...
I play mostly live games.
as others are reporting, lichess works, chess.com does not. As it happens the vast majority of my games are on chess.com.
BTW, I'm tewald on both.

Do you only play daily games? This is designed for live games.
lichess seems to work fine, but I didn't get anything from chesscom: chavezo

I also play live games.
Is it possible you haven't spent more than 10% of your time (start time plus 40 * increment) on a move in the past month?

Holy ?$&@. I want to be able to do this! Another darn goal - thank you both very much (sarcasm detected)
Nothing came up for me, but I haven’t played that much. (I use chess.com)
Thanks for trying it out. What’s your chesscom username?
November78 - I’m just starting.

It did not work for me on chess.com
